TIME AND TIDE

As part of the Time and Tide Museum's regular programme, local historian Dr Paul Davies delivered an informative and very well attended hour long talk on the history of the Royal Naval Hospital from its construction in 1809-11 up to its cessation as a working NHS hospital in 1993.

Much of the content of the talk was gathered by Dr Davies during the research for his sought after book 'History of Medicine in Great Yarmouth: Hospitals and Doctors'.
