Great Yarmouth's famous brewer Lacons has returned, some forty five years after the closure of the old brewery on Hall Plain on 28 February 1968.

The new brewery is situated in Main Cross Road, a short walk from the Royal Naval Hospital. The Visitor Centre is open every Wednesday and Thursday from 12 noon to 2.30pm.

Amongst the pubs offering Lacons ales is the historic Barking Smack on Marine Parade.
